Who's your favourite character(s)/EVA?

I've heard of it. It's been a long time since I've watched it. I personally liked Asuka the best. Like all the characters, she had a troubled past, but unlike most of them (particularly Shinji), she let it bother her the least.

Yeah, she had a bit of an ego, but I think that's better than a cynical, judgmental, self-berating, self-pitying angst drone like Shinji.

Complete mindfuck. One of the better anime's I've seen, but then, I'm not much of an otaku.

I can't say I have a "favorite" character. I was under the assumption that they were all written to be damaged and not completely likeable. The one most like myself is Shinji, though, and besides his horrible voice acting (in both languages; a previously unheard-of feat) I did feel sympathy for him.
