My favorite character is easily Tamon. Okay, I've just completed the game a couple weeks ago (AWESOME by the way), and I was wondering... what ever happened to Tamon? Did he stay with Yoriko and Kyoya and fight the rest of the Shibito? I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM!!! Anyone know? PLEASE?

The characterisation in Siren is, in general, very strong indeed - far more so than in most other games - so even characters one might not like very much are nevertheless interesting. The dynamics between pairings are particularly well developed. I'm hard pressed to choose a favourite of these: the slightly unhealthy but undeniably poignant relationship between Mrs Takato and Harumi; Kyoya's and Miyako's burgeoning closeness after bristly beginnings; Mina and Risa's sisterly bond, and Siren's particularly warped stamp on it. I suppose if forced to choose, however, I'd have to say I enjoyed the relationship between Tamon Takeuchi and Yoriko Anno most. After initially encountering the two of them in such fraught circumstances, with corresponding behaviour ("Please...shut up."), for me the two of them gradually became an emotional fulcrum in a heartless and unforgiving world. The moment on the bridge when the two of them were able to share (all too briefly, of course) a moment of closeness, a shared smile, really lent Tamon's later frantic and dedicated search for his student a real emotional depth. I suffered real pangs when I first saw the Shibito Mina clutching Yoriko's trademark spectacles. I also warmed greatly to Yoriko herself over time: I can certainly see how some might find her irritating, but I really came to appreciate her spirit, her loyalty and her way with a line: "Professor, I'm totally freaking out!". Her non-plussed pout after Shiro takes off having tended to her and Kyoya is priceless. Her stripy top is also very good indeed. Yay Yoriko.

My most favorite characters are, hands down, Risa Onda and Tamon Takeuchi; I don't understand why some people think Risa is weak... That misconception happens because some people forget about what is going on. These people are against overwhelming odds; I mean, honestly, how many people can survive a rifle shot or jump off a twenty-foot rooftop and get back on his or her feet like that? I am male, and I am much weaker than that. I have played the game for only three weeks, but I have played it long enough to know who is tough and who isn't. The only reason people think Risa is weak is because she doesn't get her fair share of weapons. In her first stage, she doesn't get a weapon; in the second stage she gets an umbrella. An UMBRELLA. I played Clock Tower, and in that game the umbrella won't save you. Why do that to Risa? Tomoko doesn't fight. She won't get a weapon. People say SHE's strong anyway. I have a lot more to say about this, but I don't want to use obscenities, and I am running out of time...
By the way, I will say it again: TAMON AND RISA ROCK!!

Q_Q Lol excuse me as I be embarrassing and take my time to spaz.

Now I haven't 100% finished the game, but I already know it pretty much inside and out. From what I saw and know, I'd have to say my favorite characters are Risa, Shiro, Tomoko and Harumi. Risa and Shiro being at the top, fighting for first place. She's just so cute! And he's so... FFFFF There is no word to describe that man. * v*

Nonetheless! I'd have to say my true top pairing is Shiro/Risa. /predictable/ OTL I shipped them hard, I thought they were super cute together.

Other than those two, I thought Kyoya/Miyako was really cute, too. ♥ Others I could see were Tamon/Yoriko, though it's one sided...
