Is it Worth It?

Is this game worth it? I'm thinking of taking a break and finishing FS2, and afterwards this one. Is it worth a remake/reimagining? And what are the differences between the original plot and this one (no spoilers, please)?

Dunno if this can be labeled as a spoiler but some of the characters in FS1 didn't appear in BC. There were areas that aren't accessible in FS1 and is now accessible in BC and vice versa. Buy the game now and thank me later.
